SRK's Red Chillies rejected Oscar Nominated

India could have seen another Slumdog Millionaire moment and this time with Shahrukh's name on it but as fate would have it,Sharukh could not even make it to the race for the Oscars.

Harishchandrachi Factory,a marathi film that has been nominated for the Oscars, was offered to Red Chillies,Sharukh Khan's production before the director of the movie Prakash Mokashi had to produced it himself.

Apparently,Prakash Mokashi approached Juhi Chawla and requested her to produce his debut film.Juhi referred him to Shahrukh Khan's production house,Red Chillies that rejected the project without Shahrukh Khan's consent,saying that they were not interested in producing a Marathi film !

With no money in hand,Prakash Mokash had to arrange for the funds for the movie by selling his house !

Even after the struggle,Prakash Mokashi won the Best Director award at the International Film Festival in Pune and was nominated for the Best Foreign Language Film for the Oscars to be held in 2010.

Looks like Shahrukh had to suffer for his team's mistake who look at the language of the story and not the story itself while investing in it.

Salman cancels shoot for kids

Actor Salman Khan at once announced at the sets that he is leaving which left the crew bewildered. Everyone feared family crisis but Salman had actually abandoned his patchwork shooting to go and attend the clamoring kids of a charitable organization.

Last Tuesday late evening, while Salman was shooting for film ‘Veer’, he received a call. Caller was organizer of a children’s nite who had called because of adamant kids who had refused to perform on stage until Salman uncle was called to dance with them. Salman immediately agreed to it, and drove back from Panvel to gymkhana in Mumbai.

Commenting on such act of Salman, his close friend said, “Salman is always doing such things.” How long Salman could sustain with such tantrums of his?

Hirani troubled with Kareena

Director Rajkumar Hirani is on a hyper note when he talks about his actress who has played the leading actress of his upcoming film 'Kareena Kapoor,3 Idiots'. He gives the reason that it is difficult to de-glam the actress for the role in the film.

According to Hirani, "I wanted Kareena to look less glamorous. But, it was not easy. Since, Kareena is too glamorous without make up also. In order to make her look convincing, we decided to give her thick glasses to wear. To some extent we managed to bring down the glamour quotient. In hindsight, I would say that it was not an easy task to de-glam Kareena Kapoor in the film."

If Hirani is saying it then, lets us also wait to see Kareena's de-glam avtaar, whether she is as charming as her persona?

Katrina says no

Actresses go crazy to act opposite star Hrithik Roshan, but Katrina Kaif has refused to act alongside him in his forthcoming film. The actress was approached by Rakesh Roshan to act in sequel of Krrish, but the actress cited dates problem.

Katrina said that the dates are colliding with Karan Johar’s Dostana sequel. Because of her unavailability Rakesh Roshan has turned to actress Deepika Padukone as his wish was to pair Hrithik opposite a new face with whom he had not worked earlier.

Could Katrina be able to afford to say no to such an actor?

Tussle between friends

What went wrong between these best friends? It seems that Shah Rukh Khan and Farah Khan's relationship is souring day by day. At the first instance Farah Khan took Akshay Kumar for her forthcoming project, and in response to it Sharukh Khan turned down her offer of attending her much anticipated lingerie show.

Sharukh's is a royal ignore for the show but his replacing actor Akshay Kumar has promised to make a smash at the show. But Sharukh has his own reasons too. He has always been a good friend and accepted their film offers without much ado, therefore he has got fussed with her.

Karan touches feet

After Aamir Khan’s apology, one more tantrum has taken birth in which director Karan Johar has touched Yash Chopra's feet. Such an act at an event has been given name of respect so to remove strife between the two big filmmakers.

Earlier the rumours were that the two had a disagreement on the distribution of film. According to YRF source, "A few months ago, Chopra ji had offered a certain price to Johar for the distribution rights for one of his films, a price which couldn't even make Johar smile, leave alone a contented grin. Dissatisfied, Johar went ahead and signed a two-movie deal with UTV."

May be such act from side of Karan Johar is to patch up between the two families.

Aamir apologizes

Movie actors could do acting in real life too. Same has been done by Aamir Khan has he has patched up with Sharukh Khan. The marker of '3 Idiots' Aamir Khan has apologized to kids of Badshah for making fun of him.

Accepting apology of Aamir, Sharukh has said that he has no hard feelings against the actor. Via a teleconference in New Delhi on Thursday from Mumbai, he said, "We often visit each other's home and we have love and respect for each other. I don't think there was any need for him to apologize because it is not really a big thing for me. Both of us don't take these things seriously but it is the media that exaggerates the whole situation."

Directorial tantrums

When a director becomes adamant, any tantrum is possible and even the most unexpected and incredible could take place. Here we see the case of mega budget film of the year 'Veer', and its director Anil Sharma.

Earlier the news was of creative differences between Salman Khan and the director Anil Sharma, which has been sorted out or not, God knows, but another problem has arisen. This time the film is facing location woes. The team of 'Veer' had decided to do shoot in a sunflower field.

When the cast and the crew reached the location, there were no sunny sunflowers but just a barren land. Now see how the director behaved at this time. At first he enquired, and came to know that because of sudden change in the climate all plants had dried up. So then what do the director did? He brought back all the sunflowers in the field in just three days. Amazing !!!

Thus the director has shown the importance of that scene, and also his own indispensible presence in the team.

Salman switches from Kat to Asin !

Till now Salman Khan was with the actress Katrina Kaif, but his recent bonding with actress Asin has caused buzz in the B-town. Salman's tantrums cause such problems that his relationship could not sustain.

The bonding between the actor and Asin had come to the limelight with the shooting of 'London Dreams'. However the latest buzz is that the two have progressed to the next level. According to the sources, “Salman and Asin have hit it big on the personal front. Both the actors have become thick friends post the shoot of London Dreams.” It seems that Salman is taking more interest in Asin than Katrina and their friendship is growing day by day.
